Elections & Voting

Village Elections are held in March of every year.  Village Elections are not run like County, State or Presidential Elections, they are run by the Village using paper Ballots. All terms for the Village Board of Trustees are 2 years, which are staggard. In Odd years the Mayor and 2 Trustees are on the Ballot and in even years 2 Trustee positions are on the Ballot. Petitions are available at the Village Hall from 9:00am-Noon and 1:00pm-4:00pm, Monday thru Friday from January 1st thru February 9th.

Please register to vote and exercise your right to vote in all Elections.  Your local government is the place where your voice is heard the loudest.
"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."
 - John Quincy Adams
"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting."
- Franklin D. Roosevelt

"Voting is the expression of our commitment to ourselves, one another, this country and this world." -Sharon Salzberg
